According to legend, the governor of Minsk liked this place so much, that he issued a decree on holding wedding ceremonies in the Holy Spirit Church, which is the concert hall now.

In celebration of solemnization, the governor and his entourage come to the concert hall in advance to prepare an unusual gift for newlywed.

Characters: the governor of the town, fine lady, string trio, marriage officer

Advantages: the concert hall location (Svobody square, 23a), no need to worry about the weather, comfortable and festive atmosphere. One of the main historical sites of Minsk is the location called “Verhni Gorod” – the upper town – with Svobody square being its central element. The reconstructed concert hall rises here as the symbol of Unity, Hope and Goodness, as the temple of Tradition and Loyalty.

Annually in celebration of the day of Minsk the special ceremony “9 couples – one wedding” representing all the regions of Minsk is held in “Verhni Gorod” concert hall.

At the end of ceremony a couple and their entourage can go to the Champagne hall and raise a glass of sparkling wine to happy and long marriage.
